Victim,’ asks: “A summons was posted to me per registered letter, but I did not take delivery of same. I later called at the court and took delivery, and did not appear "when the case came on. I was fined 5s and ‘ costs (10s) on each of two charges for breach of the motor regulations, also 2s for registration of letter. Are these costs correct?” Yes. Anxious asks: “What is the proper height of a live hedge in a township between tyvo properties? A’s house is about 100 yards from the hedge and B’s house is five yards from hedge. A cut hedge down to 4ft and right across the top. Has he a right to do this contrary to the wishes of B? ” —The minimum height fixed by the Fencing Act is 3ft 9in. A has no right to cut down the hedge to 4ft contrary to the wishes of
