Harrison at a recent meeting of the Canterbury Athletic Chibs’ Protection Association (says the Lyttelton Times). “ Because a man is a good fellow and a good player, they allow him to drift along from year to year without paying, and then, if the player gets annoyed and joins another club, they send his name into us and want ui to collect his subscriptions.”
