To meet the needs of the large number of. passengers on the Makura who are on their way to Sydney to attend the Eucharistic Congress, a chapel has been fitted up on board (says the Wellington Evening Post). The children’s nursery was set apart for this purpose, being completely furnished and decorated. The Makura brought a large number of priests and laity who are on their way to the congress, and this number will be swelled by the addition of . more travelling front New Zealand.
