' ■ "My claims to being a yachtsman are, I am afraid, very nebulous,” observed the Governor-General (Sir Charles son) in a hpmofous speech at the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club’s smoke concert, “ but I _ feel a certain amount of confidence in being surrounded by a number of old sea dogs, notably the’ Prime Minister—(laughter)—Mr Speaker and others. I am' also comforted by the thought that in some of those admirable illustrated papers I have at least twice figured under the heading, ‘Our Gover-nor-General as Yachtsman.’ ”-—(Renewed laughter.)
