The Fuller-Hayward Theatres, Ltd., have purchased the equity of the Lyceum Theatre, Timaru, which it is intended to pull down (says the Herald). On the site, a new, modern structure, to be known as the Majestic, will be constructed. At Ashburton it is intended to enlarge and renovate the Theatre Royal, and accommodation will be pro* vided for an additional 400 persons.
