BLUE TILE ROOM FOUND IN OLDEST PYRAMID. —Fox, photo. Excavations which are proceeding at Sakkara, south of Cairo, have resulted in the discovery of rooms in the famous Third Dynasty step pyramid of Tchesser (the age-old monument of Zoser ascribed to the thirtieth or fortieth century before Christ). Rooms now opened are found to be decorated with blue tiles. They contain three limestone reliefs in the finest style of the Third Dynasty. Our photograph shows the step pyramids.
