The display of vegetables shown by Mr James M’Kelvie at the Wanganui Horticultural Show was one of the outstanding features of the show (says the Herald). It contained 116 larieties, all grown out of doors, and the staging was beautifully arranged by Mr M*Kelvie’s head gardener, Mr George Aggett, former gardener to the Marquis of Ripon.
