RESULTS OF FIRST BALLOT. PARIS, April 23. One hundred and seventy-five candidates were elected in the first ballot. Of these there are 72 Democratic Republicans, • : Left Republicans, 15 Radical Reoublicans, 16 Radical Socialists, 4 Republican Socialists 14 Socialists, 13 Conservatives, and no Communists. The second ballots for the remaining seats take place on Sunday. The majority of the successful candidates have declared themselves supporters of the Government’s policy. EFFECT ON THE BOURSE.
