SUSSEX "MYSTERY MAN.”
MANY PERSONS TERRIFIED. A “ mystery man.” recently made his appearance at East Grinstead, Sussex, where he had seemingly taken up his quarters in a secondary school in the course • of erection. He is said to wear a black cloak and a trilby hat, and is seen only at nights, when he accosts -women and children, terrifying them, and hurriedly making his escape at. the sight of man. A search party nearly captured the man recently, but he escaped into tlio school. A. thorough search was made, but he could’ ot be found, though about two hours lights were seen in the top storey of the school. The man has attacked three small children, but their cries for help caused him to beat a hasty retreat.
