Milk prices, will rise again during the winter months, to 7d per quart, to the householder, *ls lid per gallon to bulk con—.sumers, and 2s 4d per gallon to • nearby farmers who may find it necessary to purchase from the council to meet ? the requirements of their customers (says the Dominion). During February the averagp milk sales per day totalled 4904 gallons, dßi increase of 276 gallons over the sales Pin February of last year. At a meeting of ex-Otago and Southland residents, held in the Greymouth Municipal Chambers, it was decided io form au Otago and Southland Association in Greymouth, to comprise ex-Otagoans and Southlanders'’ now resident on the West Coast. Mr :J. D. Wingham was elected 3 chairman, and Messrs E. L. Kehoe Bateman joint secretaries pro. tern, committee, consisting of tho joint secretaries, and Messrs L. Casey, R. J Sullivan, Stead, and Scott, was set' up to 3 draw up a constitution and to submit ag full report to a general meeting. J
