That outside criticism of the work of the Southland Electric Power Board was quite unjustified in view of the fact that it was the pioneer board of New Zealand and because of the inairnitude of the undertaking, was the opinion expressed by Mr Charles Dash, manager of the South Canterbury Electric Power Board, after a visit to Monowai recently. He expressed himself generally as very favourably impressed with the work that was being carried out there.
