BISHOPS AGREE ON MEASURE.

SEVERAL ALTERATIONS. LONDON, January 13. An official statement says that the House of Bishops concluded the session and agreed upon a measure to be intro duced in the Church Assembly without delay. It contains changes from the original measure designed to remove misapprehensions, et cetera, and will be circulated to members of the assembly. It will be published on January 21.

MR BALDWIN LEARNS DECISION. LONDON, January 14.

The Archbishop of Canterbury wishing to see the Prime Minister, but suffering from a chill Mr Baldwin visited Lambeth Palace and learned the decision of the bishops. It is clear that if and when the Praver Book is submitted to the House of Commons a situation of great interest will arise.
