No. 4. “We look like having a very exciting time,” said Golly. “ I wonder if the King will decide to ‘ knight’ us?” “ Take my tip,” retorted Teddy, “ when you get into his presence you’ll not be ‘ knighted,’ you’ll be dazed!!!” And* dear reader, if you look very carefully you’ll see that Teddy has just made a joke! Hand in hand they were trotting along the sea bottom when all of a sudden Golly’s feet shot from under him, and he sat down with a flop! “ Ha! ha! ha!” roared Bubbles, “ that’s a funny plaice to step on!” “A. plaice was it?” grumbled Golly. “I thought it was an earthquake!” “ Dust yourself down,” chuckled Teddy. “ You were always a slippery customer.” All sorts of strange fish gazed at them curiously as they made their way towards the King’s apartment. Soon they were to be introduced to the Ruler of the Deep Blue Sea. (To be Continued.)
