Mosley) gave his reserved judgment at Christchurch on Friday in the case against Charles John Brown, one of the promoters of. the “ workskil ” competition, and Thomas Edward Robson publisher of the Star, in which the advertisement ap poared, the police alleging that the competition was a mode of chance Brown was convicted and fined £lO and costs, and the charge against Rohsots. was dismissed, the magistrate holding that a post office Ixix could not be brought under the meaning of the Act as premises.
