That there was more feed in the pastures of Poverty Bay than anywhere ho had visited was a statement, made by a Gisborne farmer recently, after returning from a trip to the South Island, and also to the Manawatu and Wairarapa (says tho Poverty Bay Herald). Ho stated that tho hills in Hawke’s Bay were looking very green, but so far there was not a great growth of grass.
