Of 727 pheasants liberated in the Wellington district last season by the Wellington Acclimatisation Society, 30 were allocated to Wairarapu North. 60 to Wairarapa South, and 50 to Pahiatua. There are 510 birds available at the game farm at Paraparumu for liberation.in August.
