WELLINGTON, Ma.y 1

The Commissioner of Police (Mr W. B. MTlveney) announced to-day the following transfers :—Constable G. A. Baskin, from the district police office at Gisborne to fake charge of the Motu Station ; Constable D. H. M‘T,ean. from Rotorua to take charge of the Thames South Station ; Constable D. W. Black, from Christchurch to take charge of the Ruatorea Station: Constable H. Welsh, from Thames to Waihi : Constable L. Michol, from Auckland to Thames ; Constables H. L. Butler and D. J. O’Corral, from Auckland to Devonport.
