The following movements of overseas steamers were reported by cablegram and telegram during the week :—
Aorangai left Auckland, May 10, for Vancouver, via ports. Argyllshire arrived Panama from Auckland on the 13th. inst.
Canadian Pioneer left Halifax, April 25. for Auckland and other New Zealand ports. Canadian Prospector left New York, May 9, for Montreal, en route from Auckland.
Corinthic left Balboa, May 9, for Wellington, en route from Southampton. City of Khartoum left Panama, May 10, for Auckland, en route from New York. Foyle left Newport News, May 4, for Auckland, en route from St. John.
Huntingdon left Panama, May 4, for Auckland, en route from Liverpool. Hurunui left Napier, May 12, for London, via Panama.
Makura arrived San Francisco, May 13, from Wellington, via ports. Mahia left Montevideo, May 9, for London, en route from Wellington.
Maimoa left Teneriffe for New Zealand on the 13th inst.
Niagara left Honolulu, May 11, for Auckland, en route from Vancouver. Piako left Boston, May 6, for London, en route from Wellington. Port Darwin left Port Chalmers, May <2, for London, via Montevideo. Port Albany arrived London, May 10, from Lyttelton, via Panama.
Queen Eleanor arrived Westport, May 14, from St. John, via ports. Queen Maud arrived New Plymouth, May 13, from St.' John, via ports. Rotorua arrived Wellington, May 13, from London and Southampton. Ruahine arrived Panama from Auckland on the 13th inst. .
Somerset left Wellington, May 11, for Hull and London.
Sussex arrived Auckland, May 14, from Calcutta, via ports. Tekoa left Liverpool, May 7 t for Auckland and other New Zealand porta. West Nivaria left Seattle, May 6, for San Francisco and Auckland.
Wairuna arrived Wellington, May 15, from San Francisco and Papeete. West Calera left Vancouver, May 10, for San Francisco and Auckland.
