Another old gravestone has been discovered in Auckland. A Remuera correspondent writes to the Auckland Star that he chanced upon an ancient headstone, among the ruins of St. Thomas’ Church, Tamaki. It bore the inscription: “Sacred to the memory of Anne White, relict of Sir Henry White, knight, late of Portsmouth, Hampshire, and mother-in-law r Mr Commissioner Spain. Died Octobr--14, 1815.” ■>
