ASSOCIATION.
MEETING OF COUNCIL. WELLINGTON,' March 3. A meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Football Association was held to-night. It was stated that a tour of a Scottish team in 1928 would probably receive favourable consideration. The Australian Association’s proposal to send to New Zealand a representative team of schoolboys before 1928 was favourably received, and referred to the New Zealand Schools’ Football Association. The following is the official list of the Canadian team: —S. Tait, H. C. Noseworthy, E. Edmunds, F. Crawley, J. M‘K. Martin, J. Alanaghan, D. Thompson, H. James, W. Brolley, J. H. Painter, W. Moon. W. Milligan, H. Pagson, D. Turner, W. Gibson, D. Archibald, J. Davidson, R. L Williams, and P. Francis. The manager is Mr James Adams, an aiderman of Victoria City, a Rotarian, and one of the best-known men in British Columbia, both in sporting and social circles.
