One mile and a-half. 3. DURBAR HANDICAP (Harness) : 400sovs; second horse 70sovs, and third horse 30sovs from the stake. For horses that can do 4.38 or better. Nomination, 40s; acceptance, 90s. Two miles. 4. HARVEST HANDICAP (Saddle): 150sovs ; second horse 25sovs and third horse lOsovs from the stake. For horses that can do 2.57 or better. Nomination, 20s; acceptance, 40s. NOTE.—No Nomination or Acceptance will be received unless accompanied with Fees. The attention of owners is particularly drawn to Rules of Trotting, Part X. Rules 130-138. "Winners after the declaration of handicaps to be subject to re-handicaps. NOMINATIONS will close on TUESDAY, Anril 5. 1927, at 5 p.m. at the Secretary’s Office, Burnett street, Ashburton. HANDICAPS will appear on or about MONDAY, April 18, 1927. ACCEPTANCES will close on TUESDAY, April 19, 1927, at 9 p.m. NOTE.—Present Season’s Performances unknown to Handicapper must be sent in with Nomination.

All Nominations made by telegram must be confirmed immediately by letter, giving full particulars of the horse, breedintr, colours, etc. Anyone omitting to do so will be fined. This will be strictlv enforced. A fine of X2 is allowed (see Rule 184, Part XV). Rule 198: Every person applying for admission to any course, and every person entering or endeavouring to enter a horse for any race, and every person having or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these rules, and to be barred from questioning the action of the conference, appeal judges, association,'" club, racing club, or body, committee, stewards, officials, agents,, or servants in respect of any such person or horse, or any person connected therewith, otherwise than is provided' for in Part XXX. “ Owners of horses starting for the first time after being registered with the association must produce their copy of the completed registration form to the stipendiary steward at this meeting.” “All horses starting for the first time must be produced for inspection by the stipendiary steward at the horse stalls on the racecourse at 11 o'clock on the morning of the. races.” J.
