In computing the lines of space to be occupied, advertisers are notified that they can reckon six words to the line. All words over 50 are, therefore, charged at 6d ter each eix words. Announcements of Births, Marriages, and Deaths sent by post for publication must bear the signature of our agent, a clergyman, or a J.P. Charge for these, 3s each prepaid, or 4s if booked, when not exceeding five lines, and 6<l for each line over five. “In memoriam” notices are inserted at the same rate, but when verses are added an additional charge of Cd per line is made tor ctfcb line of space occupied.
