SPEEDING YOUTH SUFFERS. CHRISTCHURCH, February 4. Speeding along the North road through Belfast in a car at about 40 miles per hour a youth named Allen Edward Heald got into trouble in two places. First, hi s father is an ex-army N.C.0., and he applied corrective measures, administering a severe thrashing. Secondly, Heald pleaded guilty to dangerous driving in the Magistrate’s Court to-day before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M. The Magistrate cancelled Heald’s license to drive and prohibited him from obtaining another license for 12 months, and ordered him to pay court costs.
