THE AUSTRALIAN SERVICE. LONDON, January 31. ’. Beam messages from Australia are still ' being transmitted, but there will be no immediate retesting. It is hoped later to install automatic recorders, which are already used on ships. The overhauling of the Grimsby and Skegness stations will be undertaken, but it is not expected that any radical alterations in the apparatus will be made. BEAM WIRELESS. LONDON, February 3. The Marconi Company will l>egin ijcxt week exhaustice testing of the Australian beam service. The Post Office isnot participating until the company advises that a stage has been reached at which a thorough official test can be undertaken.
