K. Takaishi (Japan), though last to leave the board (as shown in picture), won the 220 Yards Championship of New South Wales at Sydney recently, establishing a new Australian record of 2min 17sec. He beat Charlton (Australia) by Byds, after the latter had defeated him in the 880yds and 440yds events.
