The following are the results of- completed events:— Men’s Singles.—E. D. Andrews (Palmerston North) beat C. E. Malfroy (Wellington) , 6—4, 6 —3. Ladies’ Singles.—Mrs W. J. Melody '(Wellington) beat Miss M. Lowry (Napier), 6—o, 6 —l. Men’s Doubles. —E. D. Andrews and C. E. Malfroy beat E. M. Hodder and N. Miller (Masterton), B—6, 6—4. The final of the ladies’ doubles will be played to-morrow between Mrs Melody and Miss Shortt and Misses Myer and Calver (Wanganui). The semi-finals and the final of the mixed doubles remain to be played? MASTERTON, January 26. The Wairarapa lawn tennis finals were played to-day, and resulted as follows:— Ladies’ Championship Doubles.—Mrs Melody and Miss V. Shortt beat Misses Calver and Myers, 6—-1, 11 —13, B—6. Combined Championship Doubles. —Malfroy and Miss Fannin beat Andrews and Miss Haggitt, 6—o, 3—6, 6 —l.
