A WARRANT ISSUED.

FAILURE TO ANSWER CHARGE. CHRISTCHURCH, January 18. z\ warrant has been issued for the arrest of Adolphus Curline, of North New Brighton, who failed to appear on remand at the Magistrate’s Court this morning to answer two charges of fraud. Curline appeared last iveek and was remanded until to-day on his own request to obtain legal advice. It was then stilted that his wife and five children were starving and the probation officer “ (the Rev. Mr F... Rule) said that he would like Curline to be released from custody in -order that he could do something for them. Accordingly Curline was allowed bail in his own recognisance of £5O. The charges involve amounts for £2 17s 6d and £1 Bs. predit for which accused is alleged to have obtained by fraud.
