Sea fishermen spent a busy week-epd last week, good ' auls of herrings and flounders being secured at Sumner and New Brighton. A rough sea at Taylor's Mistake affected the fishing, but it was reported that an exceptionally large groner was caught there. Herrings and “guffie” provided good fishing for Lyttelton anglers. Stray schnapper of remarkable size have been caught from time to time in the waters of Sunshine Bay, Queen Charlotte Sound (states the Express). Last year a 29-pounder vas landed, and just the other day another fine flor, was captured, the successful fisherman being a son of Mr W. W. Tylor. This fish weighed 201 b,
