At the last meeting of the Grey Hospital Board a building scheme involving an expenditure of £9OOO was approved, including engineering and hot water services £l5OO, extension of wards £4OOO, out-patients’ dispensary and secretary’s office £4OOO, sundry alterations (including domestic) £B9O, alterations to the house for the medical superintendent’s use as a residence £250. Dr T. H. A. Vai intine, Director-general of Hospitals, attended the meeting.
