It is stated that Mr G. P. Johnston, the well-known Border Leicester breeder of Gore, has purchased a property in North Otago, and intends transferring his stud to this district. The arrival of this breeder will add interest to the various competitions in Border Leicesters in North Otago, where the breed is much in favour among sheepowners.
