CANOEING. ’ “ A day on th© river would be very nice,” suggested Golly, “ W&U do you say to a trip in a canoe ?” “ Can you manage one?” asked Teddy. ‘ Yes—Canoe?” replied Golly. % What terrible jokes these little brats do make! Iww, as you may know, canoes are awfully tricky things to control ;' they are not so flat as punts, and if you try to change seats in the mida& ' of the river the chances are you will also change a dry boat for the wet •’ water. This is what the Ohums found. Fortunately both of th^* ; could swim, so neither was any the worse for the dueling ' Any way, they agreed that they had better go ashore and get dpy-.’-: Next week they will be indulging in a dry-land sport.-; ' (To be Continued.)
