SHOOTING AT BISLEY
LONDON, July 15 At Bisley the Mackinnon Cup was won by Scotland with a score of 1084. England scored 1076 and Canada 1070. Ireland, Wales, India, and Guernsey were next. July 16. There was a sensation at Bisley wnen two notable marksmen were disqualified for ever and their prizes were forfeited for using rifles of an unauthorised description. Julv 17. Sergeant A. G. Fulton won the King’s Prize after a shoot-off between Fulton, Dr Kelly, Cadet Vezey, and Lieutenant Hughes, of the Artillery, all of whom tied wiih scores of 286. July 18. Fulton, who is late of the Queen’s Westminsters, also won the King’s Prize in 1912. His father won the Queen - s Prize in 1888. One of the disqualified marksmen says that he bought the rifle from a gunsmith in Devonshire, and did not realise that it was cut down the barrel. The other says that the packing of his rifle was done in order to prevent the vibration of the barrel. •
