TWO WOMEN ASSAULTED. HAMILTON, June 2. “The molestation of young women by halfdrunken, young blackguards is not to be tolerated/' said Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in sentencing a young man named Les Patrick Crosby at the Hamilton Court to-day on two charges of assaulting a couple of young women The police stated that accused seized one young woman and attempted to kiss her and he struck the other a violent blow when she came to the assistance of her companion.

Accused, who said he had been driking and pleided ignorance of the occurrence, was sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment on each charge, the sentences to be concurrent.
