Y.M.C.A. CONVENTION.
OFFICE BEARERS ELECTED. WELLINGTON, June 4, At the Dominion Conference of the Y.M.C.A. the following resolutions were recorded: ‘That the convention records its appreciation of the services tendered to the National Committee by Messrs C. M. Luke, J. C. Port, G. W. Hughes, A. Varney, and J L. Hay; that expressions of appreciation of services rendered to the New Zealand associations by overseas visitors in the persons of Messrs H. N. Holmes, 1-1 M. Robinson, Reg. Stevens, and Dr Mott.” It was decided that greetings be conveyed to New Zealanders in training in America. The election of office-bearers for the following two years resulted in Mr H. W. Ker.sby being unanimously re-elected as president. The following were elected to the council Messrs \Y. C. Hemery, W. 11. Denton, C. R. Edmond, and the following to represent the associations Auckland, Messrs C. J. Tunks and C. S. Falconer; Hamilton, Mr W. Goodfellow; Wanganui, Mr 11. Christie; Palmerston North, Mr J. Wallace; Gisborne, Mr P. Bushnell ; Napier, Mr C. 11. Bisson; Hastings, Mr R. Harding; Masterton, Mr G. Morice; Richmond and Wakefield, Mr A. R. Tuffnell; Christchurch, Mr A. It. Jordan and Mr S- Wilkinson; Tirnaru, Mr Vogeler; Dunedin. Mr H. K. Wilkinson and Captain Pundstrum.
