The New Zealand Meat Producers* Board has received the following, cable*> gram from its London manager, dated June 3, 1926:—“Owing to the preva-x lence of foot-and-mouth disease Great* Britain now prohibits the import of all. fresh meat from tho Continent.” * The trustees of the Commerciajr TraveNf lers and Warehousemen’s Blind diers’ and Sailors’ Fund have received a eheque for £5 from tho Timaru Club, being the club’s annual donation* as a result of the Stansell Shield Com ?j petition.
