“Bankruptcies are becoming more and more messy every day/’ said a creditor at a meeting in the estate of Robert Heathcote Fenton, ex-coal merchant of Christchurch and a former policeman, who had kept no hooks. It was decided to place Fenton’s sffairs in the Crown Solicitor’s hands for the fullest investigations.
