The necessity of exercising great care in submitting sheep for sale was emphasised at the Gisborne Magistrate’s Court last week, when several sheepownerß were proceeded against for having presented liceinfected sheep for sale at the Matawhero yards. In two ruses it was stated that the sheep had been purchased in the yards a week previously, when .they had been ctuite clean, whilo in a third instance the sheep had been dipped whefi leaving for the sale a fortnight previously*
