Sir Harry Lunn was entertained at lunch on Friday by the New Zealand Club in Wellington. Referring to immigration, Sir Harry said that, considering its size, New Zealand was doing its full share in relieving Great Britain of the tremendous burden she was now bearing. The growth of the Dominion since the first sh : came to Port Nicholson in 1840, was marvellous, and the population was extremely satisfactory. He advocated further immigration, and said that there was no fear but that New Zealand would get the right class of immigrants.
