WOOLLEN GOODS.
FOR THE TORONTO EXHIBITION. Representatives of the leading woollen mills of the Dominion waited on the New Zealand Government commissioner, Mr J. W. Collins, on Thursday morning with regard to the selection of manufactured woollen gods for the Toronto Exhibition. “A really magnificent range of materials has been selected.” Raid Mr Collins afterwards. “Blankets, rugs, flannels, hosiery, cardigans, ‘pull-overs,’ and other lines of the very finest quality have been picked, and each of the mills represented has contributed a portion.”
It is probable that 400 square feet of space will be allotted at Toronto to make the display- Great attention has been given to the quality, and an inspection bears out the opinion of the commis aioner. In the opinion of experts, no finer New Zealand goods of that class have ever been shown outside the Dominion.
