WAR RELIEF FUNDS.

LARGE AMOUNTS HELD. (Pan United Prebs Association.) WELLINGTON, April 30. Figures presented to the Wellington War Relief Association to day showed that the funds at present held by the various societies in New Zealand total £722,988, which is sufficient to last for 17 years. It was also stated that the War Funds Council has £113,000, on which the societies can draw when their own funds are exhausted, and that canteen funds amount to £170,000.
