AUCKLAND, April 29. In reply to the Auckland builders’ complaint in regard to State Advances for building, a reassuring statement was received from the Prime Minister. Mr Hughes, who is acting for the builders, says that he cannot publish the statement, and that it is possible that a settlement will be concluded in Wellington some time next month at a conference between the Prime Minister and himself.
