I really go in for exhibition birds, but use Karswood Poultry Spice regularly, which keeps them in condition, and although not strictly utility, they lay as well, and I have never been without eggs since first starting with Karswood Poultry Spice. _ MRS. I thought the following might be of interest to you:— In December, 1923, I bought 14 White Rock Pullets. They were two months old when I got them, and I kept them until April, 1924. No signß of any eggs. I read about Karswood Poultry Spice, bought a packet, and from May 20ih to May 31st I got 24 eggs. From June Ist to 30th From July Ist to 31st From Aug. Ist to 30th From Sept. Ist to 30th From Oct. Ist to 31st From Nov. Ist to 30th 298 eg i 293 eg, 291 eg t Total—l7oo eggs. From May 20th, 1924, to May 20th. 1925. Total for the year, 2486 eggs and one of the Pullets died, which left 13 birds. I have also reared some Pullets from the above, and two started to lay last week. In the summer their morning food is oats; noon, mash with Karswood Spice; evenings, oats; winter, oats, crushed maize in the morning; noon, mash, bran, oats and crushed maize; evening, oats, crushed maize. I would like to hear from you if this is a good record for the year. C. S. CLARKE. Christchurch Poultry Keeper gets Two Extra Eggs per Bird. Mr. R. Griffiths, of 109 Colombo St., Christchurch, writes:—“After using Karswood Poultry Spice, I secured 606 eggs from five pullets In six months, against 342 eggs for the previous six months before using Karswood Poultry Spice (which is two extra eggs a week from each bird). They are still going strong. I wish to give you many thanks and hope that you will have record sales for Karswood Poultry Spice this year.” Winners of Egg-laying Test Reared on Karswood. Starr Town, Huntly. I am pleased to say that my team of ducks, now in the Mount Albert Egg-laying Competition, has won the Winter Test with 308 eggs for 3 birds in 16 weeks.
