ALLEGED VIOLATION OF RULES. AUCKLAND, March 11. A meeting of the Auckland branch of the A.S.ILS. resolved to take legal steps, at. the expense of the branch, against the Executive Councils voting proposals for the general secretaryship by lodging an injunction. The procedure, it was alleged, is a violation of the society’s rules. The objection to tho proposal is that tho position of general secreWry should be open to all permanent members only.
