BANDSMEN AND SCHOOL CHILDREN
If any. further proof of Logan Park’s great popularity, and its attraction for the holiday-makers of New Zealand and the people of Dunedin was required, it was supplied or Tuesday, when, despite grey skies and a dreary outlook from the point of view of weather conditions, the turnstiles clicked merrily and big crowds entered all day long. The optimism and enthusiasm '.'f the visitors was well rewarded, for later in the afternoon the sun sTtono ono more, and in the evening the fun was fast and furious outdoors as well a 8 in tho big pavilions. The band contest attracted big attendances in tho afternoon and evening, and business was brisk in all departments. The visitors numbered 16,478.
