A number of telephone exchange subscribers in Timaru have recently fitted a device called the whispering 'mouthpiece to their telephones. It is pointed out by the Post and Telegraph Department that thia is n breach of the regulations (says the Timaru Post), and renders the subscriber liable to have his telephone disconnected.
