MOTOR FATALITY.

MASTERTON, December 6. While motoring from Wellington to Ma»terton on Saturday afternoon, K. W. Matthowa, a builder of Maaterton, collided with the southward-hound expreaa at the Featherston crossing. Kerin Matthowa of Poton% a nephew of the drirer, waa killed outright. The elder Matthews was considerably injured, end waa rumored to hospital. There is • warning bell, at the crossing, but Matthews suffers from deafness, and this was probably the oause of tbs accident.
