I have had some very good results with my chicks this year, and up to now my losses are nil. I believe that chick rearing is child’s play, if one will only carry out the Karswood directions. Last year I was working away from home, and I was almost without Karswood Chicken Powder right through. The result was I lost twice as many as I reared. I nevor feed the chicks until they are at least 30 hours old, and then I make sure that each one gets a feed of grit and then by strictly following the Karswood way every chick hatched will be able to be reared up and show a profit. The pullets come on to lay sooner and the cockerels put on weight quicker, and so the Karswood way produces “the goods.” I have more faith in the Karswood way than any other, because I have proved its worth. 26th April, 1924. This year, I bought 2 dozen Light Sussex eggs from a well-known breeder, and fed them when hatched on another largely advertised chick food, and to my horror I lost 21 chicks within one week, only leaving me thne chicks.
