Tho Amusement Park at the Exhibition will probably be one of the strongest attractions to the general public, and it will no doubt be of interest to many to know that incorporated in this area there will be a children’s playground. This will be situated in the north-west corner of the Amusement Park, near the scenic railway, and it will comprise an area of 600 ft by 100 ft, equipped with swings, chutes, horizontal bars, miniature merry-go-rounds, and numerous other devices. Sitting in Chambers at Christchurch, hie Honor Mr Justice Sim has granted probate in connection with the following deceased estates:—Mary Hessan, Roslyn (Mr G. Gal•laway); Robert Currie, Tapanui (Mr J. C Parcell); Donald MThail, St. Kilda (Mr Gallaway); Thomas Craig, East Taieri (Mr W. Allan); Jane Pillans Nimmc, Oamnru (Mr A. Hamilton); William Henry Price, Dunedin. (Mr J. B. Nichol); Robert Ileanev, Dunedin (Mr Allan); and George Nowlands, Inchholme (Mr S. J. Fitch). Lettors of administration were granted in the ostato of Kathleen Mary Osborne, of Oamnru, on tho application of Mr P. 0. Iljorring. Mr Walter Blaclcie, Mosgiel, has received a private letter from a cousin in Glasgow, in which tho writer relates that when visiting a poultry run in the country lie found the farmer feeding his stock on Now Zealand dried milk. There was, however, no distinctive label on the tins, and through this lack of enterprise, the dominion lost what he regarded as an exoellent opportunity of advertising its products. He dnfotl attention to the omission in the hope that it will be rectified and full advance in future taken to advertise New Zealand driod milk.
