YOUNG BIRD CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Dunedin Specialists’ Young Bird dub was held on Wednesday night, Mr W. Esquilanfc presiding over a fairly large attendance. The annual import stated, inter alia, that the past year had been the most successful in the club’s existence. The annual show had been a great success, and the year’s working showed a very satisfactory financial positon. A profit of £7O 8s 3d had been made on the show, and it was very creditable that a young society should make such progress. The balance sheet showed an actual credit balance of £4 0s 9d. The Chairman, ;n moving the adoption of the annual report, referred to the success of the show held during the past year. He thanked those who had assisted the club in it 3 activities throughout the year. Mr R. Cbombes secronded the motion, which was carried. The eloction of officers resulted as followPatrons—Messrs H. Watson, Mcsdames A. Lawrenson and V. M. Hazelwood, and Miss L. Hill; secretary, Mr W. Sturm er; treasurer, Mr W. Esquihnt; auditor, Mr J. R. Wilson; committee—Messrs W. Hunt, D. Auld, G. H. Jordan, J. P. Hoare, C. W. Conley, E. J. Robertson, W. Bean. S. Lynn, T. G. Storey, A. H. Waugh, and J. Chronican, and Mrs M. Bush. Messrs P. O. Sinclair and T. Veitch were I elected life-members in recognition of their past services to the club.
