CHARGES AGAINST PRIESTS DISMISSED. WELLINGTON, May 8. Thomas Frederick Connolly and Phillip Edward Falbon, Roman Catholic priests, were charged in the Magistrate’s Court to-dav with permitting children under the age of 16 to attend church. Defendants pleaded guilty. Counsel explained that they had announced from the altar that children were not to attend, and had relied on the parents to seo that the law was carried OUt. The magistrate dismissed both inform*tions on payment of costs.
